Setting your price and availability

Pricing your gear

You set your own rental price per shoot day for each listing. It's worth checking similar listings on GearLend to get a feel for what comparable gear is renting for in your area. Keep in mind that renters are billed by shoot day, not by every calendar day the gear is out — see Understanding shoot-day pricing for how that works from the renter's side.

Managing availability

Use your listing's availability calendar to block out dates when your gear isn't available — for example, while you're using it yourself or it's already booked out. Keeping this up to date avoids double-bookings and last-minute cancellations.

Changing your price

You can update your price at any time. Changes apply to new bookings — they won't affect a rental that's already been booked and confirmed.
