Creating a listing

Got gear that's not earning its keep between projects? Listing it on GearLend takes just a few minutes.

Steps​

  1. From your account, select Create a listing.
  2. Choose a category (camera, lens, lighting, audio, drone, or another production equipment type).
  3. Add clear photos and an honest description, including the model, condition, and anything included (batteries, cases, cables).
  4. Set your rental price and availability — see Setting your price and availability.
  5. Publish your listing.

Location and privacy​

Your listing shows an approximate area rather than your exact address, so renters can see roughly how far away your gear is without your precise location being public. Your exact pickup address is only shared with a renter once a booking is confirmed.

Keeping your listing accurate​

Update your listing if the gear's condition changes, if you add or remove accessories, or if your availability changes — accurate listings lead to smoother bookings and fewer disputes at handover.
