GearLend is a marketplace that connects people who own professional film and production equipment with people who need to hire it. GearLend doesn't own or stock any of the gear listed on the platform — every listing belongs to another member of the community, and GearLend provides the booking, payment, and identity verification tools that make renting between strangers safe and straightforward.

For renters

Browse listings for cameras, lenses, lighting, audio, drones, and production accessories, then book directly through the platform for the days you need. Payment, the security deposit, and the rental agreement are all handled during checkout — there's no need to arrange payment separately with the owner.

For gear owners

List equipment you're not using every day, set your own price and availability, and earn income when it's booked. GearLend handles payment collection and pays you out automatically once a rental is confirmed.

Why book through the platform

Every booking made through GearLend includes identity verification, secure payment processing, and a rental agreement between both parties. Arranging payment or handover outside the platform isn't covered by any of these protections, which is why GearLend's terms require all bookings to go through the site from start to finish.
